Pierce the Veil appear on the cover of Alternative Press’ Fall 2024 Issue

Pierce The Veil returned from a five-year hiatus bigger than ever. 2016’s Misadventures had become an undisputed great in their time away from the stage, while their iconic breakout anthem “King for a Day” had been embraced by a new generation falling in love with emo for the first time. Rather than lean on what had come before, though, this new chapter of Pierce the Veil was driven by a desire to shake things up.

“It’s like trying to impress your new girlfriend’s parents,” Vic Fuentes adds. “You have to put your best foot forward, and you’re trying to be the coolest dude they’ve ever met, because you want them to like and accept you.”

In our Fall 2024 Issue, they walk us through the final days of the momentous run, evolution, and upcoming performance at When We Were Young, where they’ll play Collide With the Sky in full. Preorder your copy today and stay tuned this week for additional cover reveals. Also in AP’s Fall 2024 Issue, find features on Slipknot, Destroy Boys, SPEED, and more.
