Jack White Tells Fans Oasis Ticket Prices

During his “No Name Tour,” Jack White delivered a high-energy rock performance at London’s Islington Assembly Hall. Midway through the show, White took a subtle jab at the newly reunited Oasis, contrasting his own affordable ticket prices with the steep cost of attending their upcoming reunion concerts and Nikki Sixx insulted the ‘Boy Band’ Oasis reunion as well.

After briefly leaving the stage, White returned, fired up the audience, and hinted that his brand of rock and roll wouldn’t be found at massive venues like Wembley Stadium, where fans are paying hefty sums for shows. He continued with a set that included tracks like “Archbishop Harold Holmes” from his new material and The White Stripes’ classic “Ball and Biscuit,” before closing with a 12-song encore featuring fan favorites such as “Seven Nation Army” and The Raconteurs’ “Steady, As She Goes.”

“This is the kind of rock’n’roll you’re not gonna get at Wembley Stadium for £400!”

White’s comment referred to the surge in prices for tickets to Oasis’s 2025 reunion shows, with some fans paying upwards of £350 due to dynamic pricing by Ticketmaster. In response to backlash, Oasis added two additional shows at Wembley Stadium, offering a ballot system to accommodate fans who missed out on tickets initially.

White’s “No Name Tour” is largely composed of intimate club shows with limited advance notice. However, he’s also set to perform at larger festivals like Mempho Music Festival in Memphis and Corona Capital in Mexico City later this year.
