Martyn LeNoble, a former bassist in Perry Farrell’s band Porno for Pyros said that he quit the reunion last year.
Martyn LeNoble opens up on the matter
“I hate to say it. We did three PFP shows in 2022. The first show was great. The last show was ruined for me by having someone on stage that should not ever sing BV’s audible in the mix, and also wasn’t part of the original recordings.”
He added: “All the great BV vocalists I work with do a lot of homework. They practice. They know the songs. They have the voice and the ear. They care. Example of excellent singers:
@tjaecole, @queenrubee1 and Janet.”
A shocking altercation took place between Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro. The incident saw Farrell appearing to purposely tackle Navarro on stage, leading to a heated confrontation that left both the audience and band members shocked.
Footage captured by fans shows that Farrell, in the middle of his meltdown, attempted to use his microphone as a weapon against his bandmates.
The tension between Farrell and Navarro reportedly rose after Farrell got in Navarro’s face and began hurling insults at him. A confused Navarro could be seen asking what was going on, but before anyone could intervene, Farrell lunged at him. The situation escalated as Farrell started throwing punches, though it’s unclear if any landed on Navarro.
Perry Farrell has also apologized to Dave Navarro after their battle onstage. Farrell told his Jane’s Addiction bandmates he is sorry in a new Instagram post, writing:
“This weekend has been incredibly difficult and after having the time and space to reflect, it is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family, and friends for my actions during Friday’s show. Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in unexcusable behavior, and I take full responsibility for how I chose to handle the situation.”
