It was a wild story yesterday when we learned that the entirety of Torture‘s touring band opted to quit right before an anticipated tour with Undeath kicked off. Sure, the “band” was really just one dude and a handful of other musicians playing his music, but that’s beside the point. They were on the ticket one moment and then they weren’t the next because the band imploded.

The news might have left you wondering if it was worth it to even pick up a ticket to your local show or wonder if it’s even happening in the first place. Well, it turns out that you don’t have to worry about any of that. In a tweet earlier today, Undeath announced that the show will go on with or without Torture.

“Now that it’s out there: yes, Torture made the frustrating decision to drop off all the shows they were going to play with us. We’ve been rolling with the punches this whole tour, though, so we’re just going to keep it pushing with dope locals opening those shows instead.”

You may be wondering what they mean by “rolling with the punches,” but the story of this tour’s been a little difficult lately. Not only is Torture’s implosion an issue, but it was reported recently that Kruelty would be missing a few dates due to some passport delays, which I imagine has to be super frustrating.

Since the tour’s not ending over one band’s exit, you can still check out Undeath and company at any of the shows listed below. Just make sure to get your tickets ahead of time.
