U.K. singer Bishop Briggs has announced her third album, Tell My Therapist I’m Fine, out on Oct. 18 via Virgin Records. It’s her first in five years, and she says, “It’s about the messiness of being a human and everything in between.”
The first single from the album is the belt-it-out anthem “Mona Lisa On A Mattress,” which Briggs says is “about a messy, sexy, toxic relationship I fell hopelessly into,” adding, “I wrote it with one of my close friends, Jack LaFrantz, who helped me laugh my way through this chapter of girlhood I hadn’t quite unpacked.”
