In a recent live stream, Chester Bennington’s son Jaime Bennington shared his thoughts on Linkin Park’s new album ‘From Zero.’ Jamie said that he didn’t feel ‘From Zero’ has lived up to the hype and didn’t believe the band particularly did anything new. He further said that it’s the band’s weakest album till date.
Linkin Park is set to resume touring on a grand scale in 2025 after completing a handful of dates this past year. The tour, named the From Zero World Tour, will cover most of the calendar year and will include performances in major cities across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
While most shows will take place in arenas across several continents, the reformed band will also perform at stadiums. Notable stadium dates include a performance at Wembley Stadium in London on June 28th and a show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on September 13th.
Other venues on the tour’s schedule encompass over 50 cities, including Newark’s Prudential Center, Boston’s TD Garden, Chicago’s United Center, Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, Portland’s Moda Center, Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena, Phoenix’s Footprint Center, and Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
Opening acts on the tour will be Queens of the Stone Age, Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, Grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA and PVRIS.
The tour plans revealed Thursday came hours before the release of a new album for the group, “From Zero,” its first with new member Emily Armstrong joining band founder Mike Shinoda as a lead singer, and first without the late Chester Bennington. The band had been on hiatus since his 2017 death until this year, when the group released “Heavy Is the Crown” as a surprise comeback single.
