Foo Fighters ‘On Hiatus’ Due To Grohl’s Wife?

The Foo Fighters are reportedly planning to take a break as frontman Dave Grohl focuses on rebuilding trust with his family following his affair scandal. Recently, Grohl revealed that he cheated on his wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum, and has welcomed a baby girl with an unnamed woman and now messy details about his affair have also been revealed.

The band canceled their upcoming performance at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, which was scheduled for this weekend. Sources indicate that the band needs time to be with their families and regroup after several challenging years, including the loss of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins, and Grohl’s mother’s death.

A source stated that Grohl wants to be at home and prioritize his family during this difficult time, suggesting that a hiatus would be best for everyone involved.

Earlier this month, Grohl shared on social media that he became a father again while promising to be a loving parent and to regain his wife and children’s trust. He expressed gratitude for the consideration shown toward the children involved as the family moves forward together.

Grohl and Blum, who married in 2003, have three daughters: Violet, 18; Harper, 15; and Ophelia, 10. Following the revelation of Grohl’s infidelity, his two older daughters deleted their social media accounts.

Grohl had previously admitted to cheating on his first wife, Jennifer Leigh Youngblood, in a 2007 interview. He has spoken about how his family has significantly influenced his life and work, noting that having children changed his perspective and songwriting.

Jordyn Blum, a former MTV producer, has kept a relatively low profile, and little is known about her current situation following the scandal.
