Ozzy Osbourne Returning For Tour With Rock Legend?

Zakk Wylde recently talked about Ozzy Osbourne’s possible final performance in an interview with Riff X’s Metal XS.

“The game plan is, let’s hope this is what happens. You always gotta stay on the bright side of life, because Oz was singing at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame thing,” Wylde said. “Ozzy was just sitting at the chair, and he was singing ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home.’ It sounded great.”

He continued, “So hopefully we’ll just do this, and then Oz will go, ‘Let’s just fire up the machine again and we’ll do another tour.’ With Oz and his throne that just flies over the stadium or whatever, [where he] shoots out buckets of water and does everything like that. If Oz has a great time and it’s just, like, ‘I wanna go out on the road again,’ it’s just, like, ‘Good. Let’s do it again.’”

The idea of Ozzy performing on a throne has fans talking about his health and how his final shows might be set up.

Wylde’s comments come at a crucial time in Ozzy’s career. The rock legend is dealing with serious health issues as he gets ready for what could be his last performance.

According to iHeart, Ozzy has severe mobility problems. He can no longer walk due to Parkinson’s disease and multiple surgeries. Hello Magazine reported that he had major back surgery, including the removal of a tumor from one of his vertebrae, which greatly affected his movement.

Meanwhile, The Los Angeles Times reported that Ozzy will reunite with Black Sabbath for one last show in Birmingham this summer—the band’s first in 20 years.

Using a throne could be a practical way for Ozzy to perform while managing his health challenges. This setup would allow him to deliver a memorable farewell concert despite his physical limitations.
