In his acceptance speech, Questlove said, “It’s not lost on me that the Harlem Cultural Festival should have been something that my beautiful mother… and my dad… should have taken me to when I was 5 years old… This is such a stunning moment for me right now. But this is not about me. This is about marginalized people in Harlem that needed to heal from pain. And just know that in 2022, this is not just a 1969 story about marginalized people in Harlem… I’m so happy right now, I could cry. Thank you.”

Gleefully accepting her award, Eilish said, “This is so unbelievable, I could scream.” FINNEAS added, “We want to thank our parents, who have always been our biggest inspiration and our heroes. And we love you as parents, and we love you as real people, too. Thank you so much to the Academy, and we promise not to lose these [gesturing to the awards].”

They are the first siblings to win in this category since 1964. At 20, Eilish is also the second-youngest winner in the category.

In addition, director Zack Snyder won two Oscars, one for Justice League and the other for Army of the Dead.
