Ted Nugent Attacks Harrison Ford Movie

Ted Nugent recently took to his X account and posted the a rude photo criticizing Disney and Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones franchise:

Ted Nugent is a rock and roll survivor, but sadly we have lost many rockers in recent years like Prince, David Bowie, Chris Cornell, and Mark Lanegan. Meanwhile, Josh Homme hit the stage again in London on December 5th after recent surgery to pay tribute to Mark Lanegan. Homme, Dave Gahan, Chrissie Hynde, and Greg Dulli were among those who honored the late Lanegan. They celebrated what would have been his 60th birthday.

Alison Mosshart, Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream, Ed Harcourt, the Soulsavers, and Troy Van Leeuwen also joined the tribute at London’s Roundhouse. The show featured 30 songs from Lanegan’s career, including tracks from Screaming Trees, his solo work, and side projects.

‘Revelator,’ QOTSA guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen also grabbed the mic to welcome Homme, who then performed a set of songs.

“As someone who got the pleasure of spending way too much time with Mark Lanegan, let me tell you he would have pretended to hate this,” the frontman told the crowd. “But he would have loved to see you all here tonight.”

He then invited Mosshart back to the stage for a performance of ‘Come To Me.’ After they hugged, Homme said: “This next song, when I’m gone, at my funeral which you’re all invited to (it’s next Thursday) I want this song played.” He then brought Gahan back on stage to perform ‘One Hundred Days,’ ending the first set.

The evening marked Homme’s return to the stage after canceling summer festival dates for ’emergency surgery.’ “QOTSA regret to announce the cancellation and/or postponement of all remaining 2024 shows. Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year,” the band said in a statement.

Later in late September, the group announced their first shows since canceling their North American tour. The new tour will start in Boston on June 10 and 11 next year and end in Chicago. There will be no replacements for the canceled shows in Bridgeport, Memphis, and Mexico City.
