For the first time ever this Friday, SiriusXM’s Octane will be hitting the airwaves with its first-ever Headbangers Happy Hour. Described as a brand new live event where fans in the greater Los Angeles area can attend an on-air show hosted by Jose Mangin and featuring some special guests and performances.
Set to kick off at 4 p.m. at The Bourbon Room, the inaugural event will feature a performance by Flat Black, as well as appearances by special guest Ice Nine Kills. Organizers tease that there could be some “other surprise appearances” as well, which is pretty exciting.
If you’ve been listening to Octane, you probably already know what kind of vibe and energy to expect from this kind of event. It’s going to be one loud and fun celebration of modern hard rock and metal.
Entry to the 21+ event is open to the public, with seating being only available at a first come, first served basis. So if you want to make sure you get in, you should probably make sure you’re standing near the venue’s main entrance at 2:30 p.m. PST, since doors open at 3 p.m. PST.
Those of us that can’t make it out to the event aren’t entirely shit out of luck. As long as you have a way to catch SiriusXM’s Octane (Ch. 37) in your car or on the SiriusXM app, you can listen in to the event.
