GHOST BATH Stays Sad On New Single “Rose Thorn Necklace”, Announces New Record

Depressive black metal unit Ghost Bath is back with a new record Rose Thorn Necklace due out May 9. The band is now streaming the title track in all its generally blasty, tremolo-picked glory alongside a music video directed by blo0m. It’s worth noting that Rose Thorn Necklace is also Ghost Bath‘s first outside their Moonlover, Starmourner, and Self Loather conceptual trilogy.

“‘Rose Thorn Necklace’ is both beautiful and grotesque,” said Ghost Bath of the single. “It blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, exploring the contrast of something gorgeous and disgusting. I tried my best to not hold myself back – both musically and lyrically – and this is the result; depressive black metal with raw emotion, unique melodies, and textured synths.”
