Another American metal festival is looking fuckin’ awesome lately, as organizers of next year’s Northwest Terror Fest added an assload of killer bands to an already great bill.
Earlier today, it was revealed that attendees will get to witness a rare performance from the one and only Panopticon. That right there should be enough to excite even the most skeptical black metal fan. Couple that with the fact that both Houkago Grind Time and Ripped to Shreds were also added to the bill (probably to the chagrin of Andrew Lee’s energy levels) and you’ve got a trifecta of badassitude.
In their announcement, organizers said attendees should expect to have one hell of a time when the fest takes over Seattle’s Neumos & Barboza from May 8 through 10.
“You can expect to have a raucous weekend of heavy metal with some of the best people that you’ve ever met! Our mosh pits tend to be pretty fun, too. 13 bands will play at one location per day, and there are no overlaps between bands. So if you want to, you can see every single band and not miss any of them. But if you do decide to leave the venue and come back, that’s perfectly fine! There are in’s and out’s.
“There’s also plenty of great food and things to drink nearby, record stores, and one of the best bookstores in the city. If you need a break from the decibels, Capitol Hill has plenty to offer.”
Aside from today’s announcements, organizers said fans should keep an eye out for one final band to be added to the roster sometime in early 2025. So far, the entire lineup for Northwest Terror Fest 2025 is as follows:
