Undeath Break Out the BFG for New Single “Necrobionics”

Damn, so far Undeath‘s It’s Time…to Rise from the Grave has a flawless track record. Every single the band has released from this album so far has tapped ass with the lights on, from old-school ripper “Rise from the Grave” to gore anthem “Head Splattered In Seven Ways.” Now, the band have dropped another single, and guess what, certified banger!

As you’ll hear in the lyric video below, Undeath’s new song “Necrobionics” trundles a bit more than its predecessors. While those songs relied on some big booms, this one has a bit more of that zombie-in-the-swamp shudder to it. That said, it still rules, and the fact that the lyric video is a parody of the original Doom only endears us further to it.

Says guitarist Kyle Beam:

“‘Necrobionics’ is the defacto mosh track off It’s Time…. When we drop this one live, it’s going to leave the pit looking much like the chorus says, with ‘Piles of death, corpses en masse’. The track’s lyrics draws a lot of aesthetic influence from the early Doom/Quake games, with the video paying homage to some of my favorite pastimes.”
