Courtney Barnett has curated a new festival. Called ‘Here and There’, it will be hitting major cities in North America this August and September. The lineup features a diverse group of artists including Bartees Strange, Bedouine, Chicano Batman, Ethel Cain, Faye Webster, Fred Armisen, Hana Vu, Indigo De Souza, Japanese Breakfast, Lucy Dacus, Sleater-Kinney, Snail Mail, The Beths, Waxahatchee, and Wet Leg.
Ticket pre-sale begins on Tuesday, March 29 at 10 AM local. Access to tickets is available at hereandtherefest.com.
“This concept was something that remained floating in the back of my mind when I started playing music,” Barnett said in a statement. “Here And There feels like a natural culmination of energy after years of touring, and ten years of working on my label Milk! Records. It’s something I’ve been forever daydreaming about, and part of an always evolving project to share spaces and build new platforms for art and artists that I believe in.”
Barnett is partnering with The Ally Coalition (TAC) for the festival and promises to donate $1 per ticket to TAC via Plus1. TAC is committed to bettering the lives of LGBTQ youth through campaigns, tours, and support to organizations.
