Eminem has revealed that he thinks a joint album with 50 Cent “would be great”.

After featuring on Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s new album ‘Missionary’ with 50 Cent on the track ‘Gunz N Smoke’, Eminem recently spoke to Shade 45’s DJ Whoo Kidd. When asked if Eminem would ever record a joint, collaborative album with 50 Cent, he replied: “That would be great. We just gotta stop bullshitting and just do it.”

Eminem added: “I would never say it’s not possible, shit.”

Their collab on ‘Gunz N Smoke’ marks the latest instance in which the two rappers have hopped on a song together. After first signing 50 Cent to Shady Records in 2002, Eminem appeared on the songs ‘Patiently Waiting’ and ‘Don’t Push Me’, both from 50 Cent’s 2003 debut album ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin”.

Since then, the two of continually popped up on the other’s songs here and there, with around twenty collaborations on tape to date.

Prior to featuring on ‘Missionary’, Eminem released his latest album ‘The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)’. In a three-star review of the album, NME wrote: “Much more powerful is ‘Temporary’, a genuinely moving ode to his daughter, Hailie, which proves Marshall Mathers can say something that matters when he wants to.

“So, who killed Slim Shady? In bringing him back to the light and showing him up as irrelevant, perhaps Eminem’s done his old pal in for good. OK, we get it – Shady was a shocking character. Now that he’s dead, how about getting some new material?”

Most recently, Eminem opened the 2024 MTV VMAs, where he performed ‘Houdini’ and ‘Somebody Save Me’. He also won two awards: Best Hip-Hop and Best Visual. For his performance, he recreated his early 2000s performance, bringing out an army of Slim Shady clones.

In 2025, Eminem is due to make a cameo appearance in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2. While Sandler did not reveal the role Eminem plays or the extent of the rapper’s involvement in the film’s plot, he said: “Eminem was cool. He came by, he was great. I’ve known Eminem for a long time, he’s a great guy and he came in and was funny as hell.”

Sandler continued: “I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and he just shot and shot and he was insane. He said a million things we can use and a million that we’re glad we have him on tape.”
