Concertgoer Charged With Aggravated Assault After Stabbing At A Life Cycles, Etc. Concert


An audience member was stabbed during a December 27th, 2024 concert headlined by Texan crossover/metalcore outfit Life Cycles at the Paper Tiger in San Antonio, TX. That show also featured opening sets from Fear Of Loss, Voracious Contempt, Crossways 3000 and Public Threat.

According to ksat.com, 36-year-old concertgoer John Guerrero was arrested at the venue and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Guerrero is alleged to have stabbed a 21-year-old concertgoer multiples times following a physical altercation inside the venue.

An official police report noted that a knife was found to be in possession of Guerrero when the authorities apprehended him. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed as being in stable condition, and is expected to recover.
