Today, April 03rd, saw diamond-certified alternative rockers Evanescence share a new teaser video across their social media. Featured in that clip is an apparent snippet of a new song and the phrase “Who Will You Follow”. That clip also states that a reveal will be made in a week’s time, with a premiere date slated for next Friday, April 10th.
Word of a sixth studio album from the band has been floating around for some time now with vocalist Amy Lee previously indicated to KROQ last December that the effort would be arriving sometime in 2026. At the time of that conversation, she also indicated that she was in the process of finalizing lyrics for it. While Evanescence have issued a few collaborations for soundtracks and the like in the time since, Evanescence‘s last studio album was 2021’s “The Bitter Truth“.
