This GoFundMe has just been launched to raise funds for ex-Mushroomhead vocalist Jeffrey Nothing‘s (aka Jeffrey Hatrix) cancer battle. That campaign follows a previous crowdfunding campaign for his health struggles back in November of 2023. His daughter Mea is once again organizing this latest campaign and had the following to share of Jeffrey‘s health:
“My dad has recently been diagnosed with Cancer, just months after losing my mom to the same thing. Due to this, he may have to stop working during his treatment.
Anything means everything, Thank you.”
Hatrix himself also shared the link on social media, offering:
“I really wanted to keep this to myself. I was diagnosed a couple months ago. It will be very hard to continue working with the treatment path I have chosen. Thank You for anything you can do to help. I know everyone is going through a lot.”
Tragically, Jeffrey‘s wife Stacy passed away last year after first being diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer back in 2015. Coincidentally, former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis has also battled colon cancer.
Nothing was a co-founding member of the aforementioned Cleveland, OH-based masked metal outfit, though he exited the group back in 2018. More recently has been engaged on a royalty dispute with the band’s Steve “Skinny” Felton. Late last year Nothing revealed he had been intending to work on a Mushroomhead-inspired new project.
