Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke Appears To Be Beefing With A European Metal Festival

Either Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke is firing another salvo in his apparent proverbial war with the country of Austria, or he’s out to generate some press. The ever-controversial vocalist didn’t exactly endear himself to Austrian fans earlier this week.

A last-minute concert cancelation of his multi-platinum alternative metal band’s planned November 26th show at the Gasometer on the day of the show proved upsetting to a number of fans. It would also seem that some of those fans were also vocal about letting Ronnie know their displeasure online.

The Vienna show and a subsequent November 28th stop in Prague were both canceled on the 26th. Adding to the potential cancelation fatigue, three shows of this same trek were canceled earlier this month.

Canceled Falling In Reverse shows haven’t been exclusive to this European run and are a somewhat frequent occurrence for the band comparatively. However, with the band having rapidly grown into headliners with more complex stage production, some teething issues are to be expected. Regardless, some have gone as far as taking to calling the group ‘Booking In Reverse’.

Production issues were cited as the reason for the initial trio of aforementioned concert cancelations earlier this month. However, the explanation for the ill-fated Vienna and Prague stops were vague, with the band’s social media simply stating, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the following shows.”

A subsequent post shared by the O2 Universum in Prague, who were set to host the second of this week’s canceled concerts, shed some more light, with the following message being offered to ticketholders:

“Dear Visitors,
The Falling in Reverse concert (28.11.2024, O2 universum) is unfortunately cancelled due to the singer’s illness, including the Hollywood Undead performance.”

It seems likely that due to the relative abundance of canceled shows amid this tour,  the constant badgering for answers likely became a source of frustration. However, during a livestreamed gaming session on November 26th, the ever outspoken Radke went a bit scorched earth.

When a fan in the chat asked why the Vienna show was canceled, Radke launched into an expletive-laden tirade, some choice excerpts of which included:

“Listen, you guys never understand what it’s like touring across the country, exhausted and tired. We didn’t cancel the show. Shut the f*ck up Wednesday. You can f*cking get the f*ck out of my stream. Shame on you for coming to my stream. You don’t know why. You guys are just f*cking fans. You don’t understand anything to do with it. You don’t understand why shows get canceled. Get fhe f*ck out of here, you f*cking c*nt. f*ck you…”

He continued:

“People don’t understand. You guys just get f*cking mad because you’re not you can’t see your favorite singer. You don’t understand what f*cking venues do. There’s a whole f*cking laundry list of things, of reasons why shows get canceled, guys. It’s not like ‘I don’t feel so good.’

Or even, even then. If someone doesn’t feel good, you guys still f*cking berate us. When somebody’s sick and they have to cancel, you guys still f*cking berate everyone. So go, f*ck yourself. f*ck you. I f*cking hate fans like that. You’re not a f*cking fan. You’re entitled, spoiled little f*cking brat. Go, f*ck off. f*ck you.”

Later in the chat he extended his ire to Vienna in general, first in self-proclaimed jest, before doubling down:

“Wah! I didn’t get to see my f*cking favorite band play!’ You know what I mean? Like, that’s that’s how you sound. You just make the band members not like you. You understand? So stop being a spoiled little brat and f*cking [ya] gotta suck it up anyway. You guys don’t understand. You just don’t get it.

You know what? Rest of the tour is canceled. I don’t feel like playing. This isn’t… I’m not Playboy Cardi, okay? We don’t… Not Axl Rose, we’re not doing that. You understand. There’s reasons. We have reasons to believe that Vienna fans are soft as shit. That’s the reason why we’re not playing. Just kidding. Anyway, I’m just kidding. I’m just joking about that.

But hey, shows get canceled, man. Motherf*cker, Bad Omens canceled an entire Europe tour because his mental health. I don’t see any you guys f*cking getting mad at him. You understand? Go eat a f*cking Vienna sausage and shut the f*ck up.”

Radke would go on to use the Vienna sausage insult several other times on social media in response to angry commenters. While it remains unclear if the two are related, it was announced on November 27th that Falling In Reverse would no longer be playing next year’s ‘Nova Rock Festival‘ in Nickelsdorf, AUT. Some have speculated that the band no longer being on the bill a day after his aforementioned comments is no coincidence.

If you’re not aware, the annual ‘Nova Rock‘ festival commands a sizable audience, with next year’s edition booked to feature headlining sets from Korn, Linkin Park, Slipknot & Electric Callboy across a four-day run. Falling In Reverse‘s departure from the bill seemed rather abrupt, considering that the group had just announced their involvement with the fest on November 14th.

The ‘Nova Rock‘ festival were brief in their explanation of the lineup overhaul, simply stating, “Falling In Reverse will not play at Nova Rock 2025″. Around that same time, Radke also responded to a commenter on Instagram happy about that development.

In that exchange, a commenter goaded a reply out of Radke, stating” “: “HAHHAHAHA you just got ejected from the Nova Rock Lineup Hopefully Graspop, Rock am Ring and all other festivals will do the same.” Radke appears to have directly responded, “They still have to pay me, Mr. Vienna sausage body”.

Now several days removed from all the drama, Radke appears to have taken a public shot at the ‘Nova Rock Festival‘ in his Instagram stories. Earlier today, November 30th, he posted the below image which he directed towards the festival’s Instagram handle:
