Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has announced that he’ll be performing as part of Danny Elfman‘s backing band during Elfman‘s two live appearances at this month’s ‘Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival‘ in Indio, CA. Borland‘s addition the lineup came about as Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck was unable to perform at the sets.

In addition to Borland, Elfman will also be joined by guitarist Nili Brosh, Dub Trio bassist Stu Brooks and drummer Josh Freese (ex-Nine Inch Nails/A Perfect Circle, etc.). This year’s edition of the aforementioned festival will take place April 15th-17th and April 22nd-24th.

Elfman commented:

“Déjà Vu! Big time! I can’t believe it’s been two years since we rehearsed for Coachella, but I couldn’t be more excited to perform with this amazing group of musicians. Between then and now I went and made a Big Mess, but it’s all coming together nicely, the way it was meant to be.

Excited to announce the Elfband lineup for Coachella: Josh Freese on drums, Stu Brooks on bass, Nili Brosh and Wes Borland on guitars…

Boingo, Batman, Big Mess and Beyond, here we go, look forward to seeing you all there!”
