Puddle Of Mudd vocalist/guitarist Wes Scantlin has been sentenced to participating in a one-year diversion program that will find him being legally obligated to enlist in and complete a drug rehabilitation program, according to TMZ.
Scantlin, who has had a long history of arrests for erratic behavior drug-related incidents, including months of incarceration, was arrested last March on charges of domestic violence and drug possession. That arrest followed an incident involving himself and his girlfriend in Torrance, CA.
This latest sentencing was handed down as part of a plea agreement for the drug possession charge and finds the remaining counts against him dismissed. He’ll next be due back in court on May 29th for a progress report.
