Sybreed will be releasing a 20th anniversary edition of their 2004 debut album “Slave Design” on October 04th. That new edition of the record from the Swiss industrial metal band will emerge via Aggregate Media.
In addition to overhauled artwork done by Erik Kirchner, the effort has newly been remastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia). Outside of the sonic update, the record also features a newly re-recorded version of the opening track “Bioactive“, along with the previously unreleased song “System Debaser“.
The latter track has origins dating back to 2003 and was shelved during the “Slave Design” sessions. The group went on revisit the pre-production demo of this song last year to finally lay down a finished version of it. Pre-orders are available through sybreed.net/store. Remastered audio of “Decoy” and “Synthetic Breed” from the outing is now available to stream on Spotify.
