The Original Misfits will return to the stage for an October 29th live show at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX on Saturday, October 29th. Support on that newly announced show will come from celebrated shock rocker Alice Cooper and Californian punk rock outfit The Distillers. Tickets for the event will go on sale next Friday, August 12th at 10:00am via Live Nation.
The Original Misfits will also be taking the stage at this year’s ‘Riot Fest‘ at Douglass Park in Chicago, IL on September 17th. The group will headline that date with a special 40th anniversary full-album performance of their 1982 debut album, “Walk Among Us“.
The Original Misfits finds the horror punk outfit’s vocalist Glenn Danzig, bassist/vocalist Jerry Only and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein back onstage together, with Dave Lombardo (Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, ex-Slayer) on drums. Acey Slade (ex-Dope/Murderdolls) rounds out the live lineup on guitars/vocals.
