Gama Bomb announce UK tour

GAMA BOMB have announced a headlining UK tour!

Set to take place in July this year, the tour will see the Irish thrash metal band touring across the UK and Ireland to celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band. Support for the tour comes from HELLRIPPER and tickets are available now and can be purchased here.

Speaking about the tour, vocalist Philly Byrne says, “it seems like only a few months ago that we got together to rehearse some MEGADETH covers in Joe‘s garage, but got stoned and decided we’d call ourselves GAMA BOMB and write our own songs instead. Time flies when you’re having fun! This year marks our 20th birthday, and we’re in the mood to celebrate with the small but strongly-scented group of fans who’ve stuck with us all this time.

Our 2021 UK tour was a huge surprise for us – the big crowds and support we felt was like returning to life after such a long break during the ‘rona – so our first thought when celebrating our 20th birthday was to head back there, and to finally play some shows back home in Ireland. We’re also stoked-slash-pumped to be touring with HELLRIPPER, a genuinely important UK band who we’ve become pals with over the last year. It should be a real rockhaus of Satanic anarcho-speed socially-aware thrash!”

Tour dates are as follows:

15 July – The Junction – Plymouth
16 July – Rough Trade – Bristol
17 July – Boston Music Rooms – London
18 July – Percy Picklebackers – Nottingham
19 July – The Parish – Huddersfield
20 July – Arts Club Loft – Liverpool
21 July – Bannermans – Edinburgh
22 July – Voodoo – Belfast*
23 July – Grand Social – Dublin*
