Thrash metal icons DESTRUCTION have announced their highly anticipated new album, Birth of Malice, set to drop on March 7th, 2025, via Napalm Records. Kicking off the countdown, the band has unleashed the album’s eponymous single, “Destruction,” now streaming on all major platforms.
To accompany the release, DESTRUCTION premiered a high-octane music video shot in São Paulo, Brazil—a city deeply tied to the band’s history. Frontman Schmier reflected on the choice, calling São Paulo “one of the top-notch capitals of Metal” and a place filled with personal milestones and friendships. The video captures the electric energy of their live shows while paying tribute to their loyal fanbase, described by Schmier as “the backbone of DESTRUCTION.”
