HBO Max is finally setting a Season 2 premiere date for Rose Matafeo‘s Starstruck as the show sets a March 24 return to the streaming platform.

The charming comedy from Matafeo and co-writers Alice Snedden and Nic Sampson continues with six all-new episodes as the show takes a look into the relationship of Jessie (Matafeo) and Tom (Nikesh Patel). For those who didn’t catch the first season, Starstruck follows millennial Jessie who is navigating the challenges of exploring a romantic connection with Tom, who happens to be a famous movie star.

At the end of Season 1, Jessie made a grand gesture and decided to pursue a full-on relationship with Tom, ditching her plans to return home to New Zealand to stay in London with him. Season 2 will explore the real-world consequences of her decision as she and Tom experience the ups and downs of being a couple in which one-half of the pair is famous.

Among some of the teases seen in the trailer, below, are complications over Tom’s acceptance of Jessie as his girlfriend around friends and family, as she also dabbles in dangerous waters by hanging out with a male acquaintance behind Tom’s back.

But there are also some silly times ahead as Jessie jokes around by making a scene in a park. When Tom asks what she’s doing she tells him, “if there are any Daily Mail photographers I wanna make it look like we’re having an argument.”

Joining Matafeo and Patel onscreen in Season 2 are Snedden, Sampson, Minnie Driver, Russell Tovey, Emma Sidi, Joe Barnes, Al Roberts, Ambreen Razia, Lola-Rose Maxwell, Edward Easton, Parth Thakerar, and, Jordan Stephens. Catch them all when Starstruck Season 2 arrives on HBO Max this March, and watch the trailer, below.
