Rwake’s First New Album In 13 Years Due Out In March, “The Return Of Magik” Video Debuts

Experimental sludge/doom metal outfit Rwake are set for a sonic comeback with the March 14th release of their first new album in over 13 years. That effort has been titled “The Return Of Magik” and will arrive through Relapse Records. Recording sessions for the opus took place at East End Sounds in Hensley, Arkansas, with the album serving as the group’s first since recruiting lead guitarist Austin Sublett into the fold.

You don’t have to wait to experience what the Little Rock, AR-based band have cooked up, as a music video for the title track was shot with director Jonathon Oudthone and has newly gone up online.
