Pearl Jam may be getting back into headlining festival territory with many of their peers as festival season is kicking off heavily.
The first edition of Lollapalooza in India is set to take place in January of 2023 and many fans are very excited for the headliners that are currently rumored to be closing out the fest.
In a recent post via PearlJamOnline, it was said that Pearl Jam are one of the bands rumored to close out the show along with such acts as Imagine Dragons, Camila Cebello, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The post stated: “If sources are to be believed, some of the most popular musicians bands are set to headline the first ever edition of #Lollapalooza India in January ‘23 including #PearlJam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Imagine Dragons & Camila Cabello.”
While nothing is yet set in stone about what the true lineup will be, this is a big example of music from the past making a very large comeback with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam both being two very big names that are making a huge push more-so than they have in recent years.
The love for older music is coming back heavily as shows such as Stranger Things have been bringing back the allure of 1980’s music and this serves a very strong platform for 1990’s music making a comeback as well.
We will have to wait and see what the full lineup looks like and if these rumors are true, but we have a very strong belief that Pearl Jam will make for a very strong candidate to close out the show along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers who will be touring out two albums by the time that the festival is set to take place next festival season of next year.
