The first release of 2023, ‘ Back to Life’ is a fight song to himself.
BAYWUD explains, “I’ve struggled on and off with depression and anxiety throughout my life and with depression you feel like a ‘dead man walking’, in a sense. It can be very debilitating.” The song is a cry out to the universe for strength.

His music has been played by various radio stations in the U.S. including SoCal’s 88.5 FM, (Mookie)
