Dimmu Borgir Release Rehearsal Audio of “Puritania”

More than two decades after its initial release, Norwegian black metal mainstays Dimmu Borgir is gearing up to release a remastered version of their critically acclaimed Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia via Nuclear Blast Records. In anticipation of said release, the band is now streaming a rehearsal version of “Puritania,” from their bonus album Dust of Cold Memories.

Earlier this summer, the band put out their first single from the remastered album, “Blessings Upon the Throne of Tyranny” on various streaming services.

These streaming releases come fresh off the heels of the band’s latest release, Northern Forces Over Wacken, which was originally only available on the Forces of the Northern Night.

Originally released back in 2001, Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia (Remixed & Remastered) will come out on October 23. The revamped product is currently available for preorder via Nuclear Blast Records. It will be available both as a three LP box or as a CD digipak. The former will also come in three different colors: red, black, and gold — though the gold version is already sold out.
