Commenting on the milestone, the band shared:
“We are thrilled to announce that Guilt Trip have signed to Roadrunner Records. To celebrate, we present ‘Burn,’ our brand new single and first with the label. Roadrunner and its history forged Guilt Trip‘s sound as you know it, so this collaboration always felt inevitable. Thank you so much to the fans for the unwavering support throughout the years — this is only the beginning. Here’s to the next chapter.”
Adds guitarist Jak Maden:
“Sonically, it’s a metal song with hardcore influences sprinkled in. To us, it felt a little bit like old Machine Head. It’s definitely an anthem. As soon as we finished it, I knew it needed a simple repeated line until the drop and ‘wall of death’ section. We won’t even need to tell the crowd what to do.”
