Post Malone Reminds Everyone That He’s One of Us by Attending Gatecreeper Show

The world may know Post Malone as a massively successful hip-hop/pop star, but real ones know the truth. This dude’s a massive metalhead that’s made the incredibly smart decision to make hits for public consumption so he can live a comfortable life, unlike the rest of us schlubs trying to be the next Metallica or earning their money on the internet.

Though we’ve known about his enjoyment of all things metal, from past collaborations to his love of bands like Megadeth, Metallica, and Pantera, he proved he’s more than surface level with this shit by attending a recent Gatecreeper show. The band was playing a show in Brooklyn with Worm and Frozen Soul when “Posty” stopped by to hang and throw down.

Gatecreeper frontman Chase Mason shared a photo of himself and Malone hanging out at the show, calling it an “epic meetup in The Big Apple.”

Malone has long made his love of rock and metal an easily recognizable part of his persona. When he’s not making squillions of dollars as a pop star, he’s covering Nirvana for COVID relief, collaborating with Ozzy Osbourne or playing Alice In Chains’ “Them Bones.”

Hopefully, his admiration of rock and metal bands will translate to some normies giving the music a try. Remember: the more fans we get listening to metal, the more money metal bands can make and there fore, they can make a living doing what they love.
