It’s not a Black Sabbath reunion, but it’s pretty damn close! Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Tony Iommi just teamed up to perform the band’s classic “Paranoid” earlier tonight, August 8 for the Commonwealth Games 2022 closing ceremony. The duo were also joined by final Black Sabbath drummer Tommy Clufetos and live Black Sabbath musician Adam Wakeman. Check out fan-captured footage of the ceremony above.

The performance is a fitting one to close the ceremony not only because it took place in Black Sabbath‘s hometown of Birmingham, but because Iommi also teamed up with saxophonist Soweto Kinch to perform “Hear My Voice” at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony earlier this month. And really, it’s just good to see Iommi and Osbourne doing their thing. Even their recent collaboration for Osbourne’s upcoming new solo record was killer… and man, it makes us want more new Black Sabbath.
