Allied Artists is proud to announce that internationally renowned rapper, dancer, and producer Michel Assale has joined the company as a producer, bringing decades of European success to the U.S. music industry. Assale will focus on developing recording artists in the United States for international release, marking a significant expansion of Allied Artists’ global footprint.
A true pioneer of European hip-hop, Assale was born in Syria, raised in Lebanon, and later moved to Sweden—where his career took off as one half of the acclaimed duo W & M (Walter & Michel). With chart-topping hits, national media appearances, and international tours, the group became a staple of Sweden’s vibrant music scene. Collaborating with legendary producer Denniz Pop—the mastermind behind artists like Ace of Base and Dr. Alban—Assale cemented his status as a creative force with broad international appeal.

Over the past four decades, Assale has transitioned from electrifying performer to sought-after producer, mentoring emerging talent and spearheading innovative projects across Europe. His signature sound—fusing diverse cultural influences with contemporary urban beats—has set him apart as both an artist and a visionary in the industry.
Now, in partnership with Allied Artists, Assale brings his global perspective and production expertise to the United States. His mission: to shape the next generation of artists for worldwide audiences.
“Michel Assale’s track record speaks for itself,” said Allied Artists spokesperson Kim Richards. “He’s a proven creative force with deep international roots, and we’re thrilled to welcome him as we continue to develop talent that resonates globally.”
“Music has always been about connection,” said Michel Assale. “I’m excited to work with Allied Artists here in the U.S. to help new artists find their voice and reach audiences around the world.”
Assale’s arrival marks a pivotal moment for Allied Artists as it reaffirms its mission to discover, develop, and deliver music that transcends borders, genres, and generations.
