Editor and Freelance journalist of Louder Than War, Nigel Carr along with Super-Group My Beating Heart is proud to celebrate a new World Cup anthem, “Come On England (You Better Believe It).” The song tributes the most popular watched football tournament on the planet FIFA World Cup 2022 taking place in Qatar despite some controversy, of which England has participated in since 1950.

The track is a spirited, electrifying song lighting up the world like fireworks plunging into the night sky and shattering the darkness. It came to Nigel in a dream and has catapulted to everything that makes the heart beat. Much of the world’s agony can be erased in a song…The music takes its cues from shadows gone from the other side of history powered by the way to make dreams a reality.

The Beating Heart features some of the biggest UK superstars. The vocalists include Melanie Williams (Sub Sub/Hacienda Classical), Ian Carr, the Chorlton High Choir, Alan Keary, Coral Roberts, and Jerrelle Clayton. The musicians include Jay Stapley (Roger Waters Band), Craig Gannon (The Smiths), Si Wolstencroft (The Fall), John Robb (The Membranes), David Gleave ( The Naughty Boys), and Mike Bennett (The Blockheads). The song was mixed by Pete Gleadall, who is the music director of The Pet Shop Boys, and was nine months in the making.

Nigel Carr not only edits for Louder Than War, the 10th most influential music and pop-culture publication today, but also hosts and presents Louder Than War Radio. He has interviewed huge icons including John Lydon from the Sex Pistols and Shaun Ryder. He is a SEO expert running his own company Carousel Productions, and now has joined the ramparts of success in the music industry, soon to become a global phenomenon.

Spreading an epidemic of happiness, taking refuge in echoes that are familiar, the song let’s us know that where ever we come from we do not travel alone but rather there are hands that touch us and hearts to keep us warm. There is an eloquence in  Nigel‘s tapestry of enthusiasm. “Come On England (You Better Believe It)” can be streamed on all digital platforms….
