Recently released, “The Temperature is Hot” is literally burning up sound waves.. written by frontman, guitarist and vocalist John Gitano, the track is a high spirited anomaly with a Latino beat filled with texture, color, and heartbeat.

THE AMERICAN RELICS celebrate the fact that they feel comfortable in any genre and in any time capsule. They cannot stand still as the world keeps turning and their presence seems most perfect when its seeds lie in the past. Music is about touching people on a human level and John Gitano has been playing guitar nearly all his life and writing music he doesn’t let his past steal his presence.

THE AMERICAN RELICS are John Gitano, chief lyricist, guitarist and composer, Adrienne Dugger, vocalist, Ian Zane, bass, vocals, guitar and songwriter, Josh Salani, drums, recording engineer, Joni Ernst, keyboards, songwriting and vocals, and Nelson Montana, multi-instrumentalist, vocals arranger, recording engineer and sometimes songwriter). The members are all world class musicians and artists.

“The Temperature is Hot”, is an edgy rhythmic masterpiece full of energy and heat (no pun intended). The vibe of the song forces you to get up and dance and have a great time. It’s addictive, effervescent and includes some outstanding guitar riffs and vocals. “The Temperature is Hot” is full of Fire!!

5/5 Stars
