This spontaneous studio project serves as a creative highlight for the band’s extensive farewell tour, which is intended to conclude with a massive celebratory performance in São Paulo during late 2026. Guitarist Andreas Kisser emphasizes that the decision to disband after four decades was a peaceful, artistic choice made to avoid predictability and exit while the group still maintains strong momentum. Despite the abrupt and surprising departure of long-term drummer Eloy Casagrande to join Slipknot just before the tour began, the band continues to move forward with plans for a comprehensive live compilation capturing forty songs across various global cities. The upcoming North American leg of the tour will offer fans exclusive access to the new EP on vinyl, while the eventual finale aims to unite past and present members for a historical tribute to the band’s diverse musical legacy.
