DCeased: War of the Undead Gods is the concluding entry in DC’s zombie apocalypse trilogy. This story follows what would happen if a zombie virus broke out in the DC universe, created by Darkseid’s corrupted anti-life equation. Infected superhumans retain their powers, and many of DC’s greatest have fallen in the quest to keep humanity alive. Now, they’ll face one final challenge, as the universe’s most powerful beings are infected.

Darkseid is known for being incredibly powerful, through his superstrength, enhanced durability, and most dangerously his Omega Effect. Darkseid has been known as one of the most despicable and most dangerous antagonistic forces in the DC universe for a long time and for good reason. The only person Darkseid has ever considered a direct threat to him, aside from Superman, is his opposite number, Highfather of New Genesis. Highfather rules New Genesis just as Darkseid rules Apokolips, with the two powerhouses locked in a cosmic stalemate. However, now that both their minds have been ravaged by the infection, Highfather is finally free to unleash his full potential.
Highfather is capable of hurling bolts of energy, teleportation, force field creation, and molecular reconstruction. The most dangerous of these abilities by far however is his Alpha Bullets. Whereas Darkseid has the Omega Beams which can track enemies, Highfather’s Alpha Bullets are capable of traveling through time itself to hit their targets. What’s more, Highfather will be accompanied by the other New Gods, turning the godlike forces who usually stand against Darkseid into an epic threat for this ruined world’s Justice League.
Combine his powers and army with Highfather’s ability to traverse the multiverse, and he could very well be the most dangerous zombie to ever exist. Darkseid has been infected with the anti-life equation in DCeased and will most certainly be a problem for the heroes to overcome, but Darkseid, for once, might not be the final villain or the most dangerous one – that title goes to Highfather, as DC’s heroes must overcome the corrupted embodiment of good.
