Amy gave birth to her first son, Gage Deon Halterman, in November 2020. Now that Amy has her hands full with a newborn and a toddler, fans think she will start to change in order to accommodate her new life. Before having children, the 1,000 lbs Sisters star was a bit more impulsive, especially regarding what she put in her mouth. Fans could see that Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton depended on one another for survival, and both turned to food for comfort. While Amy was never as confrontational as her sister, the mother of two had her moments.

Another season of 1,000-lb Sisters has yet to be confirmed by TLC, but Tammy did share that cameras have started rolling. Amy revealed she is nervous she would be considered a bad mother if she took part in another season and seems to be on the fence about her place in the series. One thing is for sure, Amy has clearly changed for the better, which is benefiting her entire family.
