Paramount+ dropped the official trailer for Tulsa King Season 3 today, reminding us exactly why Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi isn’t done with Tulsa — or his enemies — just yet.

“I Own You, General”
The trailer opens on the chilling aftermath of last season’s cliffhanger.
Special Agent Musso emerges as the man behind Dwight’s kidnapping, declaring, “I own you, general.”
That shadow looms large over every punch, deal, and double-cross teased in the footage, hinting that the FBI’s grip on Dwight may be tighter than he ever imagined.
Whiskey and Warfare
In classic Tulsa fashion, Dwight is branching out — this time into the whiskey business. But success breeds enemies.
Bill’s already asking about his “cut,” Bodhi cracks wise about their less-than-subtle Cybertruck tail (“Totally invisible”), and Dwight himself lays down the gauntlet: “We wanna take out the competition.”
That competition comes in the form of Jeremiah Dunlap, played by Robert Patrick, the (likely self-proclaimed) tyrant of Tulsa.
Jeremiah sizes Dwight up over a glass of whiskey with the ominous promise: “I am obligated to destroy everything you have built and everyone you love.”
Patrick isn’t the only familiar face, though — Beau Knapp also makes his mark, continuing Paramount+’s growing trend of actors weaving between its biggest series.
Blood, Family, and Romance
Season 3 isn’t without its lighter moments. Dwight casually threatens to break a man’s jaw in six places, only for Margaret to coo back, “Who says you’re not romantic?”
But the humor gives way to bruising stakes: “Family does not leave family behind,” Dwight declares as the trailer flashes to Tyson being roughed up.
Annabella Scioria is back as Dwignt’s sister, Joanne, but there’s no indication that his daughter, Tina, will be returning to Tulsa.
Expanding the Kingdom
As if whiskey feuds and FBI strings weren’t enough, the trailer delivers its biggest surprise: Samuel L. Jackson’s debut as Russell Lee Washington Jr., who will eventually headline the newly greenlit NOLA King.
It’s an inspired bit of casting, but what really sparks curiosity is how his story will intertwine with Dwight’s before he heads to New Orleans.
Will Russell emerge as an ally, giving Dwight a much-needed partner after so many betrayals? Or will their backstory reveal rougher edges, complicating what could become a franchise-spanning alliance?
The potential feels similar to the way Dwight’s New York ties once colored his Tulsa empire, only this time the horizon stretches farther — setting up the possibility of interconnected stories that expand the Sheridan-verse in bold new directions.
A Crowded Cast
This season adds even more heavy hitters, including Bella Heathcote, Frank Grillo, Vincent Piazza, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
That’s on top of returning favorites Martin Starr, Jay Will, and Annabella Sciorra.
The trailer makes clear that Tulsa is overflowing with guns, whiskey, toppled tables, and new allegiances — and nobody is safe.
Tulsa King Season 3 looks like it’s going to raise the stakes higher than ever — whiskey wars, FBI power plays, and a new rival who doesn’t plan to play nice, while maintaining the humor that has made it a hit.
Add in Samuel L. Jackson’s arrival and the promise of NOLA King, and it feels like the Sheridan-verse is just getting started.
